Received a message from this number claiming I’d been near someone with Covid and offering a link to get a PCR test. Said it was from the NHS and all, mentioning the Omicron strain and urging me to apply for a test kit straight away. My elderly dad fell for it and ended up handing over his card info to cover a supposed £1.34 postage fee. Luckily, no money was taken before we froze the card. Since then, he’s been getting loads of calls from these scammers, probably trying to catch him again.
