Got a call from someone claiming to be the accident care team, but it felt dodgy. She had a Liverpool accent. When I started asking questions, she got really rude and just cut me off. Definitely a scam.

I got a call out of the blue after my accident. When I asked where she got my info from, she said it was from my insurance. I wanted to know which company exactly, but she just snapped, saying I should already know that it’s my insurer, and then she just ended the call abruptly.

this girl called me up and already knew my name and what car i drove. but she mentioned an accident that never happened, so i figured it was dodgy. as soon as i asked for her name, she just hung up. watch out for this kind of scam!

Got a call about insurance for my lad, who hasn’t even sat his driving test yet! Apparently he's been in an accident, which is total nonsense. The first guy sounded really rude and snappy, so next time they called I didn’t even bother chatting and just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a woman saying she was from some aftercare team. She already had my name, the car's reg, my address and even the accident date. When I asked what company she was with, all she said was that she worked for the aftercare team. I didn’t buy it and just blocked the number.

Had a woman ring me up and start mentioning my name and details about my car, even the make and reg number. She went on about how I’d been in an accident on June 10th, saying the other driver was 100% at fault and their insurance would cover everything. I told her, hang on, it was actually a hit and run. Then, guess what? She just cut the call off, proper laugh.
