When I picked up, it sounded like the call was being routed to somewhere abroad. A lady with a weak grasp of English was asking for me by my name. The call dropped shortly after, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

It’s a guy, clearly using dodgy numbers he’s come across, might even have a clue about your name. Police have been told about him under the Official Secrets Act. My number is a GTX one, not part of the usual phone system. Just block him and share his number with anyone who wants it so he starts gettin’ some calls back. I reckon he won’t be able to avoid visitors for long.

Got two missed calls from some Asian lady, so figured I’d pick up on the third try. She had a really thick accent and asked for someone who definitely wasn’t me. Didn’t really listen to that and she just kept going. She said she was calling from some place called CCC or something like that, not sure. She then mumbled about sending me something in the post that I’d need to sign and send back. I just stayed quiet after that, and she ended the call.

there was a woman with an asian accent who knew my full name, she asked if she was speaking to me, i told her to say which company she was calling from before i said anything else and she just cut me off! guess she realised i was onto her. i’ve blocked that number now. also got a few calls from another mobile yesterday i didn’t pick up and blocked that one too, think it might be the same lot.
