He called saying he was from some Tax Advisory Group, sounded like he had a northern accent. You could hear noises in the background, and he was trying really hard not to chuckle, though I reckon the others behind him were cracking up.

Got a call from someone named Dean who claimed they were giving me a tax refund linked to a loan. Total scam.

Pretty sure it’s a scam about getting back tax on PPI interest payments from HMRC. They kept calling non stop, really irritating. Best just to ignore it.
