Been getting loads of calls on my landline from this number, always goes to voicemail but no one leaves a message. I blocked it, but then calls started coming from a different number. Today alone I’ve had over seven calls. I’m just blocking every new number that rings me. Yesterday I had to block like six different numbers.

This bloke from Pakistan called my 75 year old nan back after she hung up coz she couldn’t understand him properly, her hearing’s pretty bad. She told him she wasn’t interested, and then he went on to swear at her, saying stuff about her dead mum and threatening her if he ever met her! Seriously, what the hell? Can these muppets really get away with that??

This number has been ringing me up about five times daily. At first, I foolishly picked up, and they keep asking for someone called Frances, but I can’t recall the surname. It’s clear they know this person isn’t here or maybe doesn’t even exist. I’m almost certain I got identical calls, right down to the name, about a year ago from these same folks. Now, I just ignore the calls and let the answerphone take them. As you’d expect, they never leave a message.

Some bunch of unintentionally hilarious muppets. My tip? Keep them chatting as long as you can, it proper confuses them and usually sends them into a right old rage. Making these prat’s blood pressure go sky high should be priority number one when you pick up. If they weren’t so daft, it’d be worrying that they’re tricking elderly folks or anyone vulnerable. Thankfully, they’re just a joke and actually liven up my day with all their nonsense calls. If you’re busy, just block ’em; if you’ve got time, waste theirs instead.

Got a call from an Asian woman who said her name was June, she claimed to be from CAB and said I owed debts I didn’t know about. When I told her I had no debts, she just laughed and hung up, and somehow she knew my full name! This was definitely fishy.

Got a call from a guy with a Pakistani accent claiming to be from the citizen advice bureau. He said he knew my name and that I owed money on loans and credit cards, which I definitely don’t. As soon as I told him that, he just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now.

I told them they were ringing a premium number that adds a ten quid fee to their phone bill and just left it at that. Ever since, they stopped botherin me. Only companies that know about these calls would realise the hassle and get stung with a hefty connection charge for ringin us.

Some bloke said he was from Citizens Advice Bureau and started going on about 'paying off my debts'. I didn’t buy it at all, especially since he was calling from a mobile. When I called him out, he told me 'not to get worked up'. I just told him what I thought and ended the call. Blocked him straight away.

I’ve got no clue who was on the phone, but they did manage to say my first name correctly when they asked for Chelsie Barrowman and mentioned I’d just got married. Had a proper nasty bloke from India called Mike ring me up!!! He was saying my husband had some unpaid unsecured loans and wanted the bank info to sort the payment. When I told him that my husband passed away on Monday, he actually chuckled and told me now I’m the one who owes the money. My husband didn’t owe a penny. Total scammers. Got really rude as well. Blocked the number straight away. Wish these dodgy places would be shut down for good.

The first person to ring me was a lady saying she was from Citizens Advice. I asked why she was calling from a mobile, then she just ended the call. The next caller said he was from Step Change. I told him the woman before said it was Citizens Advice, and he said that couldn’t be right, it was definitely Step Change. I told him it wasn’t proper to call like this and then I cut off.

The moment I said I wasn't interested, he started swearing at me, calling me nonsense. I asked for his full name and the department address, and he just hung up straight away. I reported it to 101 and Action Fraud. This number is definitely not genuine or linked to any government body. It's a complete scam. Don’t share any info and block this number immediately!!!!
