Got a call saying it was urgent from the DVLA, claiming they’d been trying to get hold of me with a link to check or something. Sounded fishy so I didn’t bother clicking it, and honestly, I’d warn others to stay clear too. DVLA sending reminders or fines from a number starting 07? Nah, that doesn’t add up at all.

Got a text saying it’s the last warning from DVLA about my car tax disc. Looks a bit dodgy to me, so I’m not clicking any links. Might be some scam going on.

Got a text saying it was from the DVLA Swansea about my car tax disc. Bit fishy tho since mine isn't due to expire till March 2019. I'd just say don't bother replying to it.

just to add on to the other comment about this number: tax discs stopped being used after 2014, so while your vehicle tax might actually be due, there‘s no way you’d get a disc anymore. sounds like a scam to me. i got a pretty much identical message from another 07518 number, i reckon it was trying to link to the same .tw (taiwan) website i saw before. honestly, best to ignore it completely.
