i got a message saying it was from HSBC telling me my account was locked for security stuff. they sent a link to unlock it but i didnt click it. looks like one of those scams to steal your banking info, so be careful!

Somebody called me claiming to be from HSBC, trying to fish out my bank info. Definitely a scam!

Honestly, if folks just ignored cold calls, they’d probably die out pretty quick. But because some actually respond, companies keep at it. Personally, I never bother with them. Whenever a company cold calls or keeps sending me unwanted letters, I make it a point to never deal with them - and I’ve done this quite a few times.
