I've come across other comments mentioning that they received a message advising them to get tested due to the threat of Omicron. However, I haven't ventured outside or encountered anyone in more than five days.

I have a strong suspicion that this is a scam of some sort. I received a message stating: "NHS: You’ve been in close contact with someone who has Omicron. Please request a Test Kit: ..." Honestly, it feels quite fishy since when I searched for the number online, it doesn’t appear to belong to any official government or NHS source. Furthermore, I haven’t received any notification from Test and Trace!
