Got a message from someone saying they're Emma. She said she tried ringing, but the signal was rubbish. Apparently, she fell this morning and ended up in hospital. She asked if I could do her a quick favour and drop her a text if I could.

Got a message from 07517 361220 today, someone called Sarah. She said she’s at the hospital, said she tripped and fell down the stairs. Asked if I could help out somehow. Came through earlier in the afternoon, about 2pm on 7th March 2018. Quite worried for her, but not sure if it’s legit or not.

Got a message from some scammer saying they got hurt, now stuck in hospital and need cash. Best not to reply or get involved, just block them and report straight away.

Just got a message tonight from someone saying it was Sarah. She asked if I was free, said she’d fallen down stairs and was in hospital, and wondered if I could do something for her. I replied straight away because I’m a nurse working night shifts, so it sounded believable - thought it might be one of a few mates from work. But then I offered to come see her on the ward and got no reply, which made me suspicious. Looked up the number online and it led me here. Have blocked it now!
