This number has called me a few times, but whenever I pick up, there's just silence.

Loads of calls have come through from numbers that begin with the same digits as this one, and every time they turn out to be scams according to what I’ve seen reported.

Had a chap by the name of Sam ring me up, proclaiming he was from some government department about grants for replacing boilers. I've encountered this sort of nonsense previously, so I had a good hunch it was a scam and simply told him I’d already swapped my boiler out. Just as I was in the middle of revealing how long I'd had my previous one, he hung up on me without so much as a goodbye. Best to steer clear of these types of calls!
