Just to clear things up about the previous post, I got this call on the 5th of February 2026. The person on the other end kept pushing to switch the call to WhatsApp so they could talk about some personal stuff. They were quite persistent about it. I didn't know anything about the transaction they mentioned, something about a credit card. Once I said I wasn’t happy talking about it, they just hung up on me. I checked with my bank and they said they hadn’t had any phone contact with me at all.

Just got a call from this number yesterday. The person said they were from my bank and asked about a recent transaction. They tried to switch the chat over to WhatsApp. When I rang them back about half an hour later, they said they had no idea what I was talking about. I've reported it to the police and Action Fraud now.
