They called asking if I knew who they were but when I asked them back, they just went silent and never told me who they were.

So this number popped up about three days ago, sending me texts like “Hello, how’s everything?” but nothing more. I’ve checked it out a few times already. Unless a few mates of mine are all getting the same message from someone who’s got a new number and wants to reconnect, it strikes me as a bit fishy... Also, noticed loads of reports about similar 07516908 numbers on here too. My guess? It’s a range scammers are probably using. Just my suspicion though.

So, a number that popped up only three days back is now sending texts like "Hey, how's it going?" but nothing else? I noticed it’s been checked out three times already. Unless it's some mate of mine who’s changed their number and is trying to reach out to a few friends at once, this seems quite sketchy. Also, loads of other 07516908 numbers have been reported here too. I reckon it’s probably a series of numbers scammers are using. Just my gut feeling. By the time I finished typing this, at least six more searches had been done on it. Definitely dodgy business!
