This number called me claiming I had been charged over £300 from Amazon. Right away I suspected it was dodgy so I tried to end the call. Took me ages though, probably like 5 goes to finally get off the line because every time I lifted the handset it started all over again with that same recorded message. It was odd, at times just that looped message, then I could hear what sounded like a busy call centre in the background. On the last attempt I hung up and waited around 5 minutes before the line really cleared. My advice? If you spot this number, just don’t answer it.
