If ya really wanna tackle these scam calls, the best thing is to report them straight to the police fraud unit. They've made it super easy for anyone to do so with their own online reporting systems. I saw instructions on how to do this just yesterday in a post on this thread, check the sixth comment below this one. The other comments mostly explain more about these scams and info about the police fraud squad.

Got a dodgy text pretending to be from Evri on the 2nd of January really early about 5:24 in the morning. It said I'd missed a delivery that day and then tried to get me to give my birthday. Definitely a scam.

If you take a look through the messages on this page, you might get why these scam calls just won’t quit. There’s advice here on how to flag scam calls straight to the cyber crime unit, and why simply blocking them doesn’t help, along with other useful tips. Loads of folks either won’t scroll back to read or if they do, they just don’t bother taking any action. This is exactly what makes scammers so confident - they know most won’t report them, so it’s cash in the pocket for them every time. When one scam works, they’re off swapping numbers and doing the exact same con again.

Got a text from a number pretending to be Evri delivery, with a link that probably leads to some dodgy site for scanning. Watch out for this kind of scam!

Got a call from some scammer pretending to be Evri, seemed fishy as heck. Tried to send some info but stopped when it didn’t feel right. Definitely a dodgy call.
