Got a call from a different number but the message was exactly the same as before. Earlier at 10.20, it was from 07912 619 974, and now at 12.04 the caller ID showed 07908 888 260. I honestly think these are really dodgy calls. Would definitely say steer clear and dont pick up!

I've had two calls over the last few days, both delivering the exact same message you see here. The latest one came through at around 10:20 in the morning, from the number 07912 619 974. Each time, they claim there’s been an unauthorised transaction to Amazon, one for £199.00 and another for £899.00 (or something close, I only caught the amount once). Weird thing is, the message never changes, just the caller’s number does.

At 9:46 this morning, my landline rang and I got a recorded message saying two payments had been taken from my bank. One was supposedly £199 to Amazon, and the other nearly £900 to some random company I don’t even know. The message told me to press 1 if I hadn’t approved these charges. Thinking it was dodgy, I quickly looked at my bank on my phone and saw nothing like that. The caller ID showed 07514 345 428. Definitely seemed like a scam.

Not sure who called me, couldn’t make out a word he was saying. As soon as I asked for his name, he just ended the call.
