Just got a ring from someone pretending to be my bank. They said there was a foreign transaction that took £600 from my account not long ago. They wanted me to press 1 if I didn’t authorise it. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call about some car accident thing. They kept saying there’s a cheque made out to me for £3750 but wanted my bank info to sort it out. Told them to just post the cheque because I haven’t had any crashes at all.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent pretending to be from some accident claim firm. She asked me if I was having a good day, which I found odd. I told her I don’t know her and haven’t had any contact before, so was she cold calling me? She kept denying it, but I said I’m with Humberside Police and if she doesn’t stop calling, I’d report her for cold calling. She quickly ended the call. Definitely a dodgy scam, watch out!

I was tied up when it called, so I let it go to voicemail. The number didn't look familiar, and since there was no message, I didn't bother calling back. Seeing what others have said, I’m actually relieved I didn’t pick up. Blocked it now for peace of mind.
