Today I noticed a missed call from a number that rang again around the same time later. When I picked up the second time, there was nothing but silence on the other end.

Lately, I've been getting a bunch of calls from UK mobile numbers, and they end up putting me through to call centres in India. The other day one caller asked if I was struggling with debt, which was a bit suspicious.

Dont bother replying to this number. Some bloke with a thick accent kept fireing questions at me, looking like he was trying to trick me into giving away private info. When I asked him who he was, what company he worked for, and which department, he just kept dodging the questions. I told him to ring my lawyer instead and he just hung up straight away. Only pick up if youre really desperate for a laugh, but whatever you do, dont share your name or any details.

Got a call from this number earlier but no message left. If anyone knows who it is, please share what you know.

So this bloke with a thick accent actually called me and asked for me by name! I cut him off straight away and told him to remove my number from wherever he got it. He wouldn’t listen and said he’d keep ringing me daily. I just ended the call. Anyone know how I could get them to back off?

Got a call from someone saying they were from the national debt helpline, even mentioned my name! But as soon as I replied, they just hung up. It seems like these calls have been popping up quite a bit recently.
