I received a call from a woman I didn’t know who was touting a complimentary survey for loft insulation. I politely declined to share my address with her.

So, I had a lad ring me up who pretty much confirmed what I’d just read about the cavity wall insulation problems on the BBC news site. Went ahead and scheduled a survey after that.

He said he’d send someone round for the survey the very next day. Then he wished me a “good day” before abruptly cutting off the call.
