Got a text scam just now, deleted it straight away. Cheers to whoever shared info on 04/09, had loads of good details. Gotta report these #### scoundrels to the police. These Amazon fraud calls have been around forever. I just don’t get how people still fall for them. That article below kinda explains why these scammers keep bugging us all the time. Honestly, how can anyone just hand over their account details or let some app on their phone to a random caller - especially when they’re ringing from a mobile? It’s mad. And if that person gets their money back from the bank, we all end up footing the bill with increased bank fees because of this mess.

Got a call from +44 7778 293689 claiming to be Amazon Prime. They said someone in Switzerland was using my account with my info!! Asked me to download a couple of apps and mentioned I’d get £499 back!! I was really off that day and didn’t catch on until too late that it was a con. They’ve drained all my cash and even my daughter’s money!! Fingers crossed my bank sorts it out today. Absolute scammers!! Don’t pick up the phone for unknown numbers!!

Got a call from this number today at 10:10 am, sounded like one of those robotic answering systems with a pre-recorded message about “an accident I was a part of”. Total nonsense obviously. Just a few days ago, I had a very similar call from a Taunton number (01872 487982) with practically the same message. Both numbers have been blocked straight away.
