Some bloke claimed I owed him cash from Boomtown and started sending me and my mum death threats, saying there was 2 grand on our heads. Even after blocking the first number, I got another message from somewhere else threatening me, saying I’d messed with the wrong lot. I’ve reported everything to the police and there’s an officer looking into it now. Seriously, don’t reply to these types and just block them!

This bloke kept saying I owed him seventy quid from some place called Boomtown, which is rubbish. He seemed pretty intimidating about it. I ended up showing him screenshots from this site, and then he just blocked me out of nowhere.

This was such a nasty scam. My partner got a message claiming that someone we both know owed them cash, and if it wasn’t paid, they expected us to cough up. The messages were really intimidating. They said it was about £80 from Boomtown Festival. Tried ringing my partner loads of times. Our mate ended up ringing them back, and the person on the other end had a London accent and sounded pretty aggressive. We’ve blocked the number now and plan to reach out to Action Fraud, based on what the police non-emergency line, 101, suggested.

Completely dodgy call... or more like total rubbish. Got a really creepy message threatening me because some non-profit I’m involved with supposedly owes £70 to Boomtown. The bloke even said he’d come after me and get his family involved. I’m definitely going to report it to the coppers. The name showing on my phone was Jimmy F or something. I was well freaked out until my mate told me to check the number here. Hope everyone’s keeping safe out there.

Some bloke on WhatsApp called ‘Arch’ kept messaging me after I blocked him, even went as far as calling me by my name. He started threatening me, said I owed him £80, and claimed he’s put pictures of me and my mum online. Told me we’re somehow at war now. All I did was ask ‘Who’s this?’ but was hit with loads of threats. Definitely block and report this one.

Got a message on WhatsApp from some bloke saying I owe him £90 for a couple of bags. He was threatening to put pictures online if I didn’t pay up. I rang him straight away, told him I wasn’t falling for it, and he just blocked me. The guy is called Archie Musgrove, and I think he’s somewhere in Bracknell, maybe around Jennets Park estate. What a scammer.

Someone called Archie Musgrove got hold of my number, probably through the Woov app, and started threatening me over some money he says I owe. I've already informed Action Fraud about it and also contacted his bank, which I think is Wise, part of NatWest. I'd suggest that if anyone else ever gets hassled by him, they should definitely report it to Action Fraud to help put a case together.

Some bloke messaged me on WhatsApp claiming I was at Boomtown, but I told him I hardly go out and the last party I went to was at E1 about 7 months ago. Then he started saying I owed him a bunch of cash, sent a voice message going on about debts and threats. I ended up blocking him and found this site afterwards. This guy followed me on Instagram and grabbed my phone number from my business profile. From what I had on Instagram, he noticed I’d been to Boomtown and then started claiming I owed him £70. He even threatened to share pictures of my family on Facebook if I didn’t pay up. He sent a bunch of furious voice notes and kept messaging me with demands. He seems to get riled up super quick and insists he’s got “evidence” from others too. On WhatsApp, his contact is saved as Archie.

When I called them out, they just mocked me, bragging about how well off they are money-wise and insisted they’re not feeling the pinch from the cost of living at all - apparently, they just got themselves a new Mercedes Benz thanks to no one standing up to them. 🤬 The cops told me to make a warning post on social media and get everyone to spread the word. The police said they’ve swindled several hundred thousand pounds just in the last month.
