I got a recorded call saying I’d been charged £900, and to press one to cancel. It’s either a scam trying to steal your bank details or just a trick to get you to ring a premium rate number. Don’t press anything, you’ll just hear the same message again. I strongly suggest reporting this to the police, the government’s fraud site, and the financial conduct authority. Hopefully, if enough people speak up, they’ll finally crack down on these con artists exploiting folks who aren’t tech savvy.
