I said no, it's Mr ??? instead. They then quickly said sorry and said they were from some energy company, asking if I was aware of a new Government scheme or something like that. When I asked where they got my number, they claimed it was from a home owners database, which I knew was rubbish because my name isn't on any home owner lists or mortgages. I pushed for who they were working for, but as soon as I did, they just cut the call. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked this number.Government3 yearsThese lot were pushing solar panels, first telling me I could get some for free, then promising someone else would ring me. Next thing, a different person rings up with a cost for the panels. Total rip off. They kept ringing me about ten times in just twenty minutes, all from different numbers.
