As soon as I picked up, the person on the other end just hung up right away.

I got a call from this number which I didn’t recognise and hadn’t been expecting. When I picked up, there was total silence on the other end, then it just hung up - pretty much what you’d expect from those automated spam or scam calls.

Some bloke rang me claiming he was from the UK, insisted he wasn’t selling anything, but then went on to say my name, address and postcode - asked if that was right (I didn’t confirm). When I asked what the call was about and where exactly he was calling from, he just ended the call. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
