Got a call earlier today from this number - a woman with a foreign-sounding accent claimed she was from BT Openreach. She wanted to update some privacy settings on our internet to make it PRIVATE. My partner wasn’t convinced it was legit and said he’d ring BT himself before doing anything else. Honestly, it struck me as really dodgy because I can’t see BT randomly calling about this sort of thing unless you’d asked about it first.
