Had some rude bloke from India calling me, demanding my bank info to supposedly stop some huge scam. Like I’m daft enough to fall for that. Blocked straight away!!

Got a robo-call saying there’s been fraud on my visa and £900 was taken, need to chat with an advisor ASAP. So I stayed on the line. Then a guy called Peter, spoke with a thick Indian accent, claimed some criminal group had hacked my account and stolen £900, and I needed to stop the transaction. I told him I don’t even have an HSBC account, but he said that’s irrelevant, just needed me to verify my bank and details. I wasn’t having it and told him what I really thought, and he didn’t seem too happy about that.
