I got a call from a firm named Go Green, claiming they were a government supported insulation service. At first, I actually booked a visit but after checking this phone number, I found out it was dodgy so I decided to cancel. The number they called from was 07511 485590.

They kept banging on about some "renewable energy improvements supposedly done in the past 5-7 years" - which they claim is on some big industry database. Couldn’t say exactly what had been done, guessed loft insulation but that was wrong. When I told them I was on the TPS, they sounded a bit caught out, kinda apologised then mentioned it was a new auto-dialler system. If that’s true, they really should have checked it was working right first. Also, ringing me from a mobile number? Seemed sketchy, felt like they were fishing for info or maybe trying to scam me.

Just got called again by these folks saying my drains need looking at. Can't believe the nerve!

A caller rang me about some drainage issues supposedly affecting properties close by and said they could come have a look. When I phoned them back, it sounded like a scam just trying to drum up business. During our second chat, they mentioned different street names that supposedly had the problem. Felt like they were just fishing for work.

It was actually a dodgy call about drainage, not insulation like I thought. When I asked where they got my number from, they just hung up on me.

Got a call from someone pretending to work for a big drain company, said loads of houses near me were having drain issues. They wanted to do a free check on my place. I told them I already have insurance for any drain problems and then they just ended the call. Total scam if you ask me.
