Got a text saying I’d been in contact with someone who had covid and it included a link. Didn’t trust it so I left it alone. I looked up the number 07511439722 online and found loads warning it’s a scam. People said not to press the link or call because it connects to a pricey premium rate line charging between 3p and 36p a minute 😮 Really glad I double-checked before doing anything. Honestly, everyone saying this number is behind a Covid scam seems spot on. Got a text like that too, saying I might have come into contact with someone who had Covid and gave a link to order a PCR test. I still do my LFT tests regularly for my job, so it was obvious this was dodgy.
