Hello there. Our father-in-law received the very same message from that number just last night. Curiously enough, it all coincides with her recent accident, yet she hasn’t mentioned a word about it! We really can’t fathom how these individuals manage to obtain such personal details - feels rather suspicious to us, to say the least!

Just received a rather dubious text stating: FREEMSG your records show you could be eligible for £3750 due to an accident you experienced. To make your claim at no cost, reply with YES. To withdraw, text STOP. X. We did have an accident and even initiated a claim for it, but we had a change of heart one day and cancelled it. (What a foolish decision on my part, I know!) I rang the number given, but it's from O2 and I didn’t get a response. I'm inclined to think it’s a scam, but I'm unsure whether to just ignore it or respond with STOP. Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

This is exactly the same as previous messages about claiming £3750. Given that there's been no accident on my part, it’s quite clearly a scam. I won’t be responding or sending a message with “STOP”.

I can't quite believe what I've just read! Just received a text, and my face is a picture of disbelief! The message claimed: "I've never received any complaints or anything close to what was said in the messages throughout my life." I’m only in my twenties, so yes, it's a bit baffling. It seems utterly ludicrous to be expected to respond to a text we never initiated in the first place. So what’s the reason for staying in contact if we didn't even begin the conversation? It’s all quite perplexing, really!

I received the identical message, and I can honestly say it left me utterly gobsmacked! Shortly after, I got a FREEMSG, which is rather amusing, isn't it? In my entire two decades of life, I've never come across any claims or anything even close to one. So, it's safe to call this a scam. There's absolutely no way we would reply to an SMS to opt-out when I’ve never even initiated anything in the first place! It begs the question: why on earth would I need to 'stop' something that I never started?

Hi there, our father-in-law received the same suspicious message last night. Interestingly enough, she’s just been involved in an accident, but she hasn’t made any claims or anything of the sort! We're quite baffled as to how these individuals manage to obtain such information. It certainly seems a bit dodgy, if you ask me!

Hello there! Our father-in-law received the very same message from the exact same number just last night. Interestingly, the person who got it has recently been in an accident, but hasn’t shared anything about it publicly. It's all rather suspicious how these people manage to acquire personal details, isn’t it?
