I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, said there was a problem with my internet and they needed to get into my computer. The guy was speaking with an Indian accent. I told them I knew it was a scam and just ended the call.

Got a call from someone with a really strong South Asian accent, talkin’ about Microsoft stuff and then asked if I was the main person using my computer. I told her I don’t own a computer, so then she asked if I had a phone, or maybe a tablet. When I said no, she rang my mobile to check, but as soon as I said I didn’t have those either, she just hung up. Since my number’s registered on the TPS list, she’s gotta be a scammer - probably one of those “your computer’s got viruses” cons.
