I had an interesting call today from a lady with a British accent (quite rare these days!) representing 'Solar Magic' (couldn't find a sniff of them online). She attempted to persuade me to agree to a complimentary survey for my solar panels, which I suspect was a guise to peddle a PV Plus system. When I questioned her about the Telephone Preference Service regulations, she stubbornly claimed they were exempt because they had obtained my details from a database, insisting it wasn't a TPS concern! This type of unsolicited marketing is frustrating, and, as is my wont, I’ll be reporting them to the TPS or directly to the ICO. I urge others to do the same-it's essential if we want to take action against these nuisance calls.

I received a call from a number claiming to be associated with The Renewable Energy Hub. However, it turns out they have no connection whatsoever to the organisation. Definitely a scam call! Stay vigilant, folks!
