Got a call from someone claiming I’d been in a car accident and that I’d already made a claim with my insurance. They went on about me having a hire car sorted too, which is completely not true - I’ve never been involved in any accident! Pretty sketchy if you ask me.

Got two calls, so rang back - said it was from something like Express Legal Services. They already had my postcode, car reg and some made-up accident date. When I called them out, they claimed the insurers gave them that info. Asked who my insurers were and they said they couldn’t disclose it as it’s “confidential.” Totally sounds like a scam to me.

Those peeps are just some kind of legal vultures.

Somebody rang saying they were from the traffic legal help team, like roadside stuff. They said they found my number in some kind of national crash database or whatever. Sounded dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone I didn't recognise who seemed to know quite a bit about me, but some details were a bit off. They were fishing for info about a car crash or something like that. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Got a ring from someone claiming to be from the road accident claims department, trying to push me into making a compensation claim. When I asked why they were reaching out to me, they just abruptly ended the call.
