Came across the posts about this number and honestly, the real owner should definitely raise a complaint with Ofcom about these scammers pretending to be them. Also, drop an email to your local MP - you can find their contact info on the UK Parliament website. It’s absurd that scammers from overseas can fake real UK phone numbers and trick people here. Surely there’s a way to stop this with better tech? And honestly, anyone who calls back numbers they don’t recognise must have a lot of nerve!
