I received a message from this number claiming to be from a bank I don’t even have an account with. The message stated that a new payee had been added to my account, and if I didn't authorise it, I should click a link to dispute it. Clearly, this is a scam! Whatever you do, steer clear of that link and definitely don't enter any personal information. Proper banks wouldn’t send texts from a personal number like this; I attempted to call the number back, and it just rang before someone abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Received a pair of texts from this number on the very same day, both alerting me about a supposed new payee (Mr. K Khan) associated with my Halifax account. Clearly a scam, as I don’t even have an account with Halifax! This number should definitely be shut down!
