At 2:54am on the 12th of January 2021, I got a call from this 07508884591 number. The bloke said he was Mr Khan from TSB and told me a new payee had been added to my account. Bit odd, adding a payee that early in the morning. Felt really dodgy to me.

I received a message from this number claiming to be from a bank I don’t even have an account with. The message stated that a new payee had been added to my account, and if I didn't authorise it, I should click a link to dispute it. Clearly, this is a scam! Whatever you do, steer clear of that link and definitely don't enter any personal information. Proper banks wouldn’t send texts from a personal number like this; I attempted to call the number back, and it just rang before someone abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
