I got a message from the number 07508790169 saying they were providing financial aid related to covid 19 reparations. They tried to scare me by saying a stage 5 lockdown was about to happen and offered free financial help. Obviously it’s a scam because there’s no such thing as a stage 5 lockdown. It really upsets me that some people prey on vulnerable folks, hoping they won’t spot the lies. Please share this to help protect others from these awful scams targeting innocent people.

Got a text saying I qualify for some Covid Stage 5 aid money but it just wants you to tap on a dodgy link that looks like covsupport-uk[###]. Seems like a total scam to me.

Got a text about some Covid support grant, had a link in it like covsuport-uk[###]. Felt off, so didn’t click on it. Anyone else get this or is it legit?
