Had a call from some scammers claiming I was entitled to a £277.59 covid grant. Total rubbish, obviously a scam.

Someone rang saying they were from the government, saying there’s a grant because of covid 19, but it’s dodgy. Govt.uk numbers don’t start with 07 or +44 like that, so don’t believe it. Also, don’t click on any links they send you from that phone number.

So I got a text saying it was from the UK government about a covid relief grant. It had a link that seemed kinda dodgy, and when I looked up the actual government site, I couldn't find anything about it. Felt like a scam to me.
