I received a text at 2AM today claiming to be from Hermes, but it’s clearly a scam since it’s just a regular mobile number. I haven’t placed any orders with them!

I've just received a message claiming to be from Hermes, saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel. Absolute nonsense! Our household is bustling with activity round the clock. I looked into the number and it turns out to be from EE, but we don’t use their services at all. Please take steps to block this number!

I received a text at 4:27 AM on the 28th of June, 2021, claiming an attempt had been made to deliver a parcel. Given that I was waiting for a delivery from Argos, I thought I'd check it out. However, when I logged onto the website to arrange a redelivery, they hit me with an unexpected fee for the privilege. Naturally, I didn't entertain this nonsense and quickly logged out. In the end, the parcel arrived courtesy of Yodel, leading me to the conclusion that it was likely a dodgy scam.
