Got a text saying it was from EE saying my last payment didn't go through, but I don't even have an account with them. Pretty sure it's a scam.

Got a call on the 17th Jan at 7:36 pm from someone saying they were Halifax. They told me a new device was linked to my account at 12:34 earlier that day and if it wasn’t me, I should click on some link straight away. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

Got a message claiming it was from EE saying they couldn't take my bill payment, sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a message from this number at about 5.12pm saying it was from Lloyds (I’m guessing the bank), asking if we’d made a payment earlier today at 12.34pm. The text told us to click a link to cancel it if we hadn’t. Called Lloyds to double check and they confirmed it was a scam, told me to just delete the message and block the number straight away.
