Somebody’s been pretending to be me using this number on WhatsApp and telling people things that aren’t true. It’s not me at all, and I’m planning to get the police involved about it.

Got a call from a dodgy number but I didn’t pick up. Heard about this type of scam on the news before. They sent a text saying the kid's phone was busted and asking if we could sort something out. Most likely they’d try to get some cash out of me. The number didn’t add up either, looked like a UK number but not the one I know. Blocked them straight away and reported it.
