Scam message warning! I accidentally tapped on a dodgy link that’s apparently been flagged before. Luckily, the site was already blocked by my browser. The text claimed to be from the UK Government Living Allowance Office, saying that because heating subsidies were cancelled this winter, they’re offering financial help as living expenses instead. They mentioned applications are open until 12th October 2024 and that payments would go out before the end of the month. The message urged you to apply via the link or just ignore it if not interested. Definitely a fake link, so watch out!
