Got a text saying "HSBC alert: a new payee called Mrs K Adams was added on 15/03/2021. If you didn’t do this, check: auth-verifynewpayeel#H##Jhsbc!" I’ve never even heard of Mrs K Adams and I definitely don’t have an HSBC account. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a message off this number sayin I’ve got a parcel from Royal Mail that I ain’t paid for. They said if I don’t get back to them, they’ll send the package back. Thing is, I haven’t bought anything online lately.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Royal Mail about some unpaid postage charges and that my parcel would get sent back. The message seemed legit at first, but it was sent to me at half past eleven at night and was full of spelling errors - that’s when I knew something was off!

got a msg saying paypal had frozen my account because of security issues. it told me to go to [#]paypal-imitations44[###] quickly or theyd shut it down. i called paypal and they said its a scam. definitely dont click that link, its risky!
