Reports on phone number 07508072333
4 yearsThe caller hangs up the moment you pick up the phone. I received a rather odd text saying, "Hello mum, the signal's a bit dodgy as I've just switched my number. Could you give me a ring back?" Quite peculiar, isn't it?4 yearsReceived a rather unsettling phone call earlier, claiming to be Nurse Lisa from my GP surgery. They mentioned wanting to schedule me for a smear test, but what truly appalled me were the absolutely vile remarks made about my mother, who is facing surgery soon. Honestly, what a despicable and foul-mouthed individual! They clearly lost the plot when I asked them to verify my mum's date of birth, responding with utter filth instead. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour!Nurse Lisa4 yearsI've been receiving a fair number of messages from a supposed family member, claiming that their daughter is unwell and asking me to note down a new phone number. They’ve even thrown in the names of other relatives to make it sound convincing. It’s all a load of nonsense and rather despicable, really, trying to pull the wool over people's eyes like this. My suggestion? Just block them and report the nonsense. I’ve already alerted the police and notified the network provider involved.4 yearsI recently received a text that pretended to be from one of my children, claiming their old phone had packed in and asking for my number. I replied a couple of times, only to discover later that they might be charging me between £50 to £100 each time I respond! Apparently, it’s all mentioned in some sort of mail and online warnings. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!4 yearsI got a ring from this number, but they cut the call as soon as I picked up. Shortly afterwards, I got a text claiming to be from Nurse Lisa at my medical practice, though the connection wasn’t great. Following that, there was another message about scheduling my breast screening, and then the third message came through, simply saying, “Apologies, wrong number.” I reached out to my doctor’s office, and it turns out they don't have anyone by that name on their staff! Quite bizarre, really.Lisa4 yearsI received a call at our doctor's surgery urging a patient to schedule a procedure. Interestingly, the patient was already visiting us at the time, so they decided to confirm with our staff. Upon looking into it further, we discovered it was a scam! We recommended that the patient block the number they received, but it was concerning as the caller seemed to have some of their personal information. It leaves us wondering where these scammers are sourcing their data from.4 yearsHeads up about a dodgy nurse scam! By sheer chance, they used the same first name as a nurse from my local surgery, and I almost got roped in. Quite despicable, if you ask me!4 yearsReceived a call purporting to be from a school nurse, citing poor reception as the reason for texting instead. They tried to fish for personal details, claiming one of my kids had taken a tumble. However, when I sought clarification, it quickly became evident they were not legitimate-wrong school name and all that. Quite dodgy, to say the least!4 yearsI received a call at 2 in the morning, but they hung up the moment I picked up. I tried to return the call but realised it was an accident, so I promptly cancelled it. Shortly after, the number rang me again but cut off straight away when I answered. Then I got a text instructing me to save that number, mentioning something about a poor signal. I quickly decided to block and erase everything related to that number.4 yearsI received a barrage of calls, numbering ten in total. Following that, a message popped through stating, "I'm a school nurse; a child’s had a little mishap at school, but it’s nothing serious." In the meantime, I've had to corral the kids at home. After a moment, she messaged again, adding, "I don’t actually have children enrolled at school," and apologised profusely. Still, the calls kept coming, with another ten from that same number! It's all rather peculiar, isn't it?4 yearsI've had a spate of calls from this number, one right after the other. I ignored the first few attempts, but when I finally picked up the last one, it disconnected immediately as soon as I answered. Just a few moments later, I got a message from the same number, addressing me by name and claiming to be the school nurse. It mentioned wanting to chat but that the signal wasn't great. This isn't the first time something like this has happened to me; I had a similar situation a while back and was warned that it was all just a scam.4 yearsReceived a call at half past two in the early hours, yet there was no message left. Could be a case of dialing the wrong number, but seriously, a more sensible hour for calling wouldn’t go amiss!Submit Your Own Report (07508 072333)
