Total scam alert! Got a message claiming my package got rerouted and they want me to reschedule delivery. They’ll probably try to charge me some fee too. There was a dodgy link in the message - best to stay well clear!

Got this message and thought it was dodgy... It said my parcel was sent back to the local Post Office 'cos I hadn’t paid some shipping fee. It told me to go to a link to sort the delivery again: [#]parcel-customscharges[###]. Seemed a bit fishy to me!

I noticed this number showed up in my missed calls but there wasn’t any voicemail message left behind. The call came through around 8:18pm on 26 June 2021, and interestingly, I got a text from the same number at exactly that time. I’ve now put the number on my Samsung Galaxy S7’s block list, so it won’t be able to ring me, leave a voicemail, or send any more texts.
