The scammers sometimes use fake identities, including unlikely names, and seem to target people indiscriminately, even those without debts. Got a text saying they attempted to deliver a package. I was waiting on a parcel too. Tried clicking the link to check, but my antivirus popped up and stopped it, saying it was risky.

They've been ringing me nonstop since yesterday, but when I pick up, there's just silence. What drives me mad is that they choose the worst times, calling while I'm trying to sleep and even in the middle of my work day. Anyone know how to get these calls to stop?

There was this bloke with a thick accent who sounded pretty annoyed when I told him to speak slowly and repeat himself. I just wanted to figure out who was calling and let him know I'm not interested. I also told him not to ring me again because I keep getting endless calls.

Got a call but it showed up as blocked on my phone. Weird!

I've had calls on this same number and loads of others too. If I block one, they just ring me from a different one. They say they're from the government about some debt consolidation plan, but I don't even have any debts. When I ask them to take me off their list, they just ignore me. Another number blocked!

Got a call claiming to be from the same credit union, but it was a total scam. Watch out, they’re trying the same trick on everyone!

some bloke called max rang me and strangely he seemed to know stuff about debts i owe - which is odd cause i haven't got any! he claimed to be from some credit investigation team and offered help with these imaginary debts. never met an indian guy named max before! sounds like a dodgy call to me, probably a scam 0

got a call from some indian bloke offering help with my debts, said he knew my name too. since im a bit wary of calls from india, i’m not sure if what he said was legit. feels like it could just be a form of harassment, just putting it out there.

I’m not really sure who they are, but every time I pick up they just end the call straight away. I get nearly 20 calls daily from a handful of mobiles and landlines. Whenever I ring back, the numbers are always out of service. This happens nonstop, all day long. One time, they actually got through and someone pretended to be from the government about clearing debts. When I asked to be taken off their list, they got quite rude with me on the phone.

this bloke has been calling me over 20 times today. everytime i pick up, he just laughs and hangs up. i tried calling back but no luck. he did say he’s contacting everyone across the uk to offer help with debts or something. total pain in the neck!

I keep getting calls from this number, some guy says he's from the 'credit union department' or something official like that, promising to sort out your debts. I told them to take me off their list but they just keep ringing. In the end, I had to block the number because it never stopped. Proper annoying!

I reckon this is yet another scammer ringing me up. They keep calling from different mobiles and landlines all day long, but never bother to leave a message. They try to act like they're from some official service like a cab company or something. It's honestly just really annoying and feels like harassment.
