I've never received a call from this specific number before, but I've gotten loads like it lately from numbers starting with 073, 074, 078, and 079 on my landline. A recorded message claims to be from "the fraud prevention team" but they never say which bank or credit card company they're from. They say I've tried to spend £561, which isn't true at all. It then tells me to press 1 to confirm the payment (which sounds risky!) or something else, but the call just ends abruptly. Unlike a real call, they don't try to verify who I am or ask any security questions to confirm my identity.
