Recently been getting loads of calls from people pretending to be from hmrc. Looks like these scammers have finally got off their break.

Sounds like a total scam to me - they said they were from HMRC and threatened legal action, but I’m pretty sure it’s a con.

lots of calls have come through from numbers that begin like this, and every single one’s turned out to be a scam, according to the reports.

over the past hour, my landline has been ringing off the hook from the same number, about five times now. so irritating!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Citizens Advice, but sounded like a mobile number? They said there were debts linked to me. I told them straight up I’ve never owed a penny and to stop calling. Then I ended the call and blocked the number. At least it’s different from those HMRC scams for once!
