Got a call from a p#### a while back trying to sell loft insulation, wasn’t happy with the way they handled it.

This number rang me after I got a call from 01225291788 about a free loft insulation check. The lady on the phone claimed she was handling the BH postcode zone. I told her I wasn’t convinced about anything said in either call. She then offered to send the info through the post if I wanted it, and I said sure. She promised to remove me from their call list too. When I asked how she’d post the details since the first caller didn’t even ask for my name, she said she’d try and find my details based on my number after we hung up.

I received a subsequent phone call after an earlier chat with 01225291788 regarding a complimentary loft insulation inspection. I expressed my scepticism about the legitimacy of both calls, and she suggested sending me some information through the post. When I questioned her method of doing so, considering her colleague couldn't even provide my name, she claimed she'd simply use my phone number to track me down. Quite the encounter, I must say!

They started chatting about loft insulation, said they knew my first name but not my full address. When I mentioned it wasn’t a proper “cold” call, they couldn’t explain when I’d agreed to be contacted or how they got my details. Really felt a bit dodgy to me.
