Got a call saying my internet IP was stolen and being used by loads of others. The bloke wanted me to go on my computer so he could show me some tests. I told him I wasn’t having any of it and hung up. Then he rang back from another number. Same story, but his English was so bad I barely understood a thing. He called again and started threatening to cut off my internet permanently. It felt like a really rubbish scam, but I reckon it could worry some folks.

Got a call from this number today but couldn’t pick up. I rang back and a man answered saying he was with some security firm, though I didn’t catch the name. I ended the call pretty quickly.
