Got a message late at night supposedly from Gloucestershire police, saying they were worried about my welfare and telling me to ring 101 with an incident number. It really frightened my elderly mum. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

Got a call from a private number earlier, didn’t pick it up (no idea who it was, probably a scam). Then I got a text from that same number saying it was Gloucestershire Police, mentioning someone had checked on me and wanted me to ring 101 with an incident reference. I’m not in any sort of bother and don’t know anyone there. Seems like another dodgy scam trying to catch people out.
