Got a message sayin "Your Sally Mitchell order [my name with a weird space] 40456970004974 will arrive on Thursday". I dont know any seller called Sally Mitchell and never placed any order with that number. Feels like some sort of phishing ploy to me.

Unlike what others have said, this number sent me a text saying I might be able to file a claim for a no fault accident I was involved in within the past three years.

Following up on what I said yesterday (22/12/2017), I got a delivery from M&S. It was actually a present hamper sent by my brother from the States. Lovely surprise, but it would be great if the UKMail message had included who actually ordered it.

Got a text saying my Marks and Spencer order number nnnnnnnn is due on Saturday. Never actually bought anything from M&S, so that got me wondering. I went on my PC, checked UKMail and typed in the reference and my postcode. It said my parcel’s on its way. I’ll wait and see, maybe it’s a Christmas pressie. Saw in older comments someone mentioned that the good reviews seem fishy. I totally get that now. Loads are super short and keep saying “legit” over and over. Also “all good” pops up more than once, which seems a bit strange.

Got a text from UKMail saying a parcel was on its way, then another saying it was delivered and signed for by 'BAKER' which I don't know. I reckon the texts are genuine but I haven't ordered anything myself. Probably someone's mixed up my number with theirs so nothing adds up.

For sure a scam. I got a message saying an M&S parcel would arrive in two days, but I'm pretty certain I never bought anything. Seems like some kinda scheme. Also, don’t click the link, might be dodgy.

In response to the bit about "UKMail not being legit, only Royal Mail does deliveries in the UK" - actually, the delivery market here is pretty open. There’s loads of companies like DHL, UKMail, Yodel, DPD, Hermes and more, not just Royal Mail. Maybe you haven’t been around or paying attention for the last decade or so! This number is genuine, it’s UKMail’s way of telling you your parcel's on its way. If you’re unsure, just pop over to their site, type in the tracking number they sent and you’ll see it’s all above board.

UKMail isn’t a proper delivery service. In the UK, it’s Royal Mail that actually does the post deliveries.

Got a text on 27/07/2017 at 15:56 saying: Your DHL parcel 020409097747 will arrive Friday. Check [#]info[###]ail[###]/50000000045883 to sort your delivery. TOTAL SCAM, DONT CLICK THAT LINK - my laptop warned me it was unsafe and probably trying to steal card details or other info from my machine. I order from DHL loads and this number’s defo not theirs, and also, they don't send texts just saying what day it'll come, it's usually more like tracking updates not exact delivery days!

I rang this number from my home phone regarding a delivery I was waiting for because they had phoned my mobile, which I missed. The person I got on the line spoke with an Asian accent and acted like they had no clue about the call to my mobile. I called back just 6 minutes after the missed call.

Got a text today from this number: 07507303784 saying: your giffgaff order GG0141090 is set to arrive on Tuesday 7th March 2017. It included a link: http:/info[###]ail[###]/3102540 to track it. Thing is, ive never bought anything from giffgaff and wasnt expecting any parcels! Definitely not clicking that link. Ive already blocked the number on my phone :)

Got a text saying My Order WA0035419 will come Friday. It had a link to manage delivery but wouldn’t open on my phone. So I went to their main site, entered the number, and got asked where I’d like the package left. But nothing turned up on Friday. I’ve emailed ukmail waiting to hear back since there’s no info on where it’s coming from.

I got a text from this mobile number claiming to be O2, saying my delivery will arrive before 10.30am tomorrow. They want me to reply with 1=Thursday, 2=Friday etc to change the date. Problem is, I’ve never ordered anything from O2 and I’m not even a customer. Got some texts from them yesterday evening and again this morning about a delivery for something I never ordered from a shop I'd never even heard of. They included a tracking number and a link to their website. It looked pretty convincing at first, and I thought it might just be a wrong number issue. Still, I didn’t click the link to be safe. Purchased something from eBay and got a text from this number about my shipment. Followed the link but it just kept sending me to dodgy promo sites offering stuff like iPads and MacBooks for a quid. Clearly they’re after your card info to scam you. I reckon the seller (who was overseas) is selling phone numbers of buyers who might click the link because they’re expecting a delivery. All those comments saying “looks legit” are probably just fake reviews too.

I didnt give them any address either. Seems like a scam to me. I rang UK mail and they wanted my address but i didnt give it since i never placed an order.

I checked their website and it matches a parcel I’m actually waiting for. UKmail is just a legit courier like Hermes or DPD, so it seems all above board - no need to worry.

Whoever sent this is a complete muppet. I’m not waiting for anything from Destiny Entertainment. Really hope they find something better to do with their time.
