It just told me I had a text message, but when I checked, there wasn’t any at all!!

The caller ID just shows United Kingdom, no specific area code or anything! Don’t answer if you see this, I picked up by mistake a few minutes back and it was no good. Better safe than sorry!

Got a message saying "Attached is the VHC for your vehicle https:// blah blah." No idea who they are. When I clicked the link, it asked me to "Authenticate by entering reg number, email, and mobile." Like seriously, do they think I’m daft or something? Definitely reported the number to my phone company’s scam checker.

I keep getting text messages about service bookings from two completely different garages, each looking after one of our cars. Seems like there’s some sort of central system these garages all tap into. The messages usually say something like “please don’t reply to this message,” which makes me think it’s pretty legit.

This number belongs to a firm called Pinewood that offers services to Ford dealerships. Today, I got a call from someone claiming to be from Hartwell Ford in Dunstable. I decided to check with them beforehand, and after they said it was fine, I followed the link they sent which then showed them doing a safety check on my vehicle! The email could definitely have been written in a clearer way to make it seem less worrying.

Someone pretending to be from Amazon Tech Support called me. They said there was lots of strange login activity on my Amazon Prime and that if I wanted to protect my account I should press 1. The caller spoke with an Indian accent. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a text saying I'd won a free CVS, which from what I gather means a 'Complimentary Vehicle Service' judging by the other comments here. They wanted me to tap on a link they sent. No thanks! Didn’t open the message or click anything, just wiped it straight away.
